Criteria for earning Honey rewards while mapping with a drone
You can map anywhere you would like with Hivemapper. Currently, rewards for mapping via drone are currently only available in the following cities.

Criteria for earning rewards when contributing with a drone
To earn a reward for providing Map Coverage for a given airborne tile, the collected imagery must be the following criteria:
Collected during daylight hours
Collected in an area with Open tiles
Flight path was generated with Studio
Successfully mapped at least 1 complete tile, no credit for partial tiles
Imagery contributed is less than 4000 x 3000 resolution
Collected during non daylight hours
Collected tiles have already been mapped (airborne tiles re-open 30 days)
Collected imagery have obstructed views e.g. dirty camera lens
Collected imagery is missing GPS data

When the imagery collected provides map coverage for at least 1 airborne tile the network pays out $1 for the airborne tile. In the example below, a contributor provided map coverage for 3 airborne tiles and so earns $3 or $1 per tile.
