How to Update the Bee's Firmware

Bee LTE

Bee LTE updates firmware automatically via OTA (over-the-air) —no action needed.

Bee WiFi

In order to download the latest firmware version, you must have Cellular Updates and Uploads enabled. You can enable this in the Bee Map app Settings menu.

  • Connect Bee Maps to Bee

  • In the Bee Maps app, go to Settings > Bee.

  • Checkmark = firmware is up to date.

  • If not, the update will download and install automatically as shown below.

  • Don’t unplug or power off during the update.
