Updating Your Firmware

Depending on when you received your Bee, its firmware may not be up to date. Connecting the Bee to Bee Maps app for the first time may trigger a firmware update. If an update is needed, you will see a pop-up in the app to confirm you want to download and install the latest firmware. Once the update finishes installing, you will be ready to start mapping.

Having trouble with updating your firmware? See the tips below:

• Do not unplug or power off your Bee while the firmware is updating.

• You can view your current firmware version and monitor the progress of download and installation in the Bee Maps -> Settings -> Dashcam menu.

• In order to download the latest firmware version, you must have Cellular Updates and Uploads enabled. You can enable this in the Bee Map app Settings menu.

Bee LTE does support OTA (over the air) updates to the firmware.
